How to Remove an Item From the Customers List

If for Some Reason You Accidently Scan or Enter in an Item Twice You Can Remove an Item From the Customers List Using the Void Function.
Note: if the Item Is on Special the Menu Looks Different.

1. on the Main Screen Where the Items Are Being Displayed, Click on the Item You Wish to Remove From the List. (Highlighted Red)
Note: This Item Is a Special Item.

2. Select the Void Button. (Highlighted Red)
Note: This Menu Will Show for Items on Special and This Menu Will Show for All Other Items

3. a Red Line Will Be Place Through the Item With **void** Shown Where the Price Normally Shows.

4. Once All Items Have Been Scanned or Weighed, Process the Payment (See How to Finalise a Sale Notes) the Removed Item Will Not Show on the Receipt.

How to Repeat an Item

You Can Repeat the Same Item Multiple Times by Using the Repeat Function. This Function Only Works With Scannable Items!!

1. Scan the Item With the Barcode Facing Down Across the Scales. The Scales Will Make a Beep Sound and Display the Item on the Screen. (Highlighted Red)

2. Click on the Item. (Highlighted Red)

3. Select Repeat. (Highlighted Red)

4. the Item Will Then Show in the Customer List Twice. (Highlighted Red)

How to Add an Item Multiple Times

You Can Repeat the Same Item Multiple Times by Using the Repeat Function. This Function Only Works With Scanable Items!!

1. Scan the Item With the Barcode Facing Down Across the Scales. The Scales Will Make a Beep Sound and Display the Item on the Screen. (Highlighted Red)

2. Click on the Item. (Highlighted Red)

3. Select Quantity. (Highlighted Red)

4. Enter in the Line Quantity (Highlighted Red) for That Item and Click Ok. (Highlighted Orange)

5. the Item Will Show in the Customers List With the Line Quantity and the Price of Those Items. (Highlighted Red)

How to Search for an Item

There Are 2 Ways to Search for an Item. This Can Be Done via the Department or via a Search Option.

Via Department
1. on the Main Menu Screen Select the Department to Which the Item Belongs to. E.g. Beers (Highlighted Red)

2. a List of All the Items for That Department Will Be Displayed, Select Which Item You Are Looking for.
Note: There May Be More Pages of Items, This Is Indicated by Page Numbers at the Bottom of the Screen. (Highlighted Red) and Other Buttons Available to Display More Items (Highlighted Orange)

Via Search
1. on the Main Menu Select the More Option (if Available). (Highlighted Red)

2. Select Desc Search (Highlighted Red)

3. Type in the Item You Are Looking for. E.g. Apples
Note: This Search, Searches Character by Character. If You Misspell and Item the Search Will Not Find Anything. You Can Press the Bs Button Delete Characters. (Highlighted Red)

4. Use the Arrow Buttons if Needed to Scroll Up or Down. (Highlighted Red)

5. Once You Have Found the Item, Select It. (Highlighted Red)
Note: if the Item You Are Looking for Is Not There, It May Be Listed Under Another Description (E.g. Granny Smith Apple May Be Entered in as Apple Granny Smith) or the Item Doesn’t Exist in the System Therefore It Needs to Be Added.

Note: if the Item Requires to Be Weighed an Error Msg Will Pop Up. Place the Item on the Scales and Press Yes

6. the Item Is Then Displayed on the Screen. (Highlighted Red)

How to Weigh an Item

1. Place the Item That Is Needed to Be Weighed on the Scales.

2. on the Main Menu Screen, Select the Department to Which the Item Bellows to. E.g. F&v, Meat, Deli, Beers Etc. (Highlighted Red)

3. Search for the Item Being Weighed and Select It. E.g. Granny Smith Apples (Highlighted Red)

4. the Scanner Will Beep Once the Item Has Been Selected and Displayed on the Screen. (Highlighted Red)

5. if the Following Error Message Displays, This Means There Are No Item(S) Placed on the Scales. Place Item(S) on the Scale and Select Yes (Highlighted Red) to Re-weigh the Item, the Scales Will Beep and Display Item.

6. Press the Close Button (Highlighted Orange) to Return to the Main Menu or Scan / Weigh the Next Item to Continue the Sale.

How to Scan an Item

When Scanning an Item, the Barcode Must Be Facing Down Towards the Scales.
1. Scan the Item With the Barcode Facing Down Across the Scales. The Scales Will Make a Beep Sound and Display the Item on the Screen. (Highlighted Red)

2. if an Item Is Scanned and the Following Error Message Shows, This Means That the Item Which Was Scanned Is Not Entered Into the System. (See Below)

3. Press Yes to Print Out a Ticket. (See Above Highlighted Red)
Note: This Should Be Given to the Supervisor / Cashier Supervisor Asap to Be Entered Into the System.

4. You Will Need a Price Check on This Item and the Item Will Need to Be Entered in Manually by Doing a Department Sale. (See How to Do a Department Sale Instructions)
